Welcome to Port4lio

Port4lio is a network site for multimedia developers. Initially port4lio was designed for those who were not skilled in web design enoughto show a collection of works online, although shortly after defining the target audience I realised that it was wrong to exclude web developers(yes, they have feelings too) from what could be an amazing project.

As well as developers using and accessing this network I hope to add businesses and third parties looking for people like you! this way you make moohlah! If your happy you will let all your friends know of my awesomeness and then I will be liked.

Port4lio was created by Liam Friel as a 4th year multimedia project for great justice! The idea has been floating around for me for a while but I've never had the time to get into it. So here I am project time and it is a huge risk as I have never done a project this size

So far got the view/edit profile stuff semi workin, no one told me that making a social networking site would be so awkward :P. I'll try and add some navigation and get the whole friends thing working soon :D stay with me people.

Got the login and add media functions to work! mucho success.... I think. I also was made aware of a thing called the NING, which allows people to create social networking sites as simple as signing up for a web service (DAMN THEM!) In other news, I feel kind of embarassed about this project as it does not contain much content as of yet. Most of it should be user generated, but the functions that allow this content are not enablesd as of yet.
